В статье выделяются три стратегии метатеоретизирования в современной социологии: интегративное, эволюционное и перспективистское мататеоретизирование. Рассматриваются их особенности. «Интегративное мататеоретизирование» направлено на выявление общей теоретической логики, стандартизацию языка описания и/или разработку интегрированной теории. Цель «эволюционного метатеоретизирования» состоит в осмыслении тенденций и перспектив развития социологии в изменяющемся социальном и интеллектуальном контексте. Эта стратегия характеризуется выделением этапов, фаз, сдвигов, смещений в социологическом знании, картографированием прошлых достижений с точки зрения определения наличного состояния и перспектив развития дисциплины. «Перспективистское метатеоретизирование» нацелено на выделение независимых друг от друга, внутренне упорядоченных и относительно герметичных конфигураций – парадигм, научно-исследовательских программ, моделей объяснения и пр. Предложенная классификация рассматривает стратегии метатеоретизирования с точки зрения их подхода к решению проблемы дисциплинарной раздробленности.
