Abstract

The article considers peculiarities in organizing and conducting sociological research under contemporary conditions, analyzes mistakes of sociologists that affect data quality, describes 176 some approaches to data collection and analysis of information (for instance, method of “sociological reconstruction of the past events”, peculiarities in studying opinions of hardly accessible respondents etc.), that were positively evaluated in practice of national and international research projects realized under author’s leadership or with his participation.
