Abstract

Chinese population studies originating in early 1920 sociology developed in a close contact with changes in modern China society. As an independent subject Chinese population sociology features its unique characteristics in the course of evolution. It is facing some challenges from educational experts, development of the subject itself, outer environment envisioning in this context significant opportunities to come. Such issues as population structure, family relations, employment, population policy strategies and sustainable, development are some key areas of research having great significance for general progress of Chinese sociology, population problems studies and relation between population research and society. It offers as well a harmonious outlook for the economy, population, society, and environment.
