Abstract

The results of a number of surveys by young scientists working at the institutes of the Ufa Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences are presented. The analysis of data revealed certain trends in the anchoring of youth in the institutions of the UFIC RAS. Among them are the dynamics of life satisfaction in the self-esteem of young scientists, characterized by instability, as well as changes in the structure of their sources of income, among which, in addition to wages, domestic research grants and assistance from relatives remain most common. The main problems in the professional activities of young scientists were identified: low level of material and technical support of the institution, remuneration, lack of demand for scientific results by domestic consumers. Survey data showed a low level of effectiveness of such a structure as the Council of Young Scientists, as well as a decrease in the participation of young scientists in the trade union activities of the RAS institutes.
