Abstract

Mutual relationships of contemporary sociology with interdisciplinary approaches are discussed including changes awaiting humankind in geopolitics, geo-economics and geo-culture in the first half of the 21st century. It is argued that it is sociology that shall – in medium-term perspective – achieve advanced positions in the complex of sciences of nature, society, and mankind.
