Abstract

The anonymous survey of the 1–3 courses’ students of Omsk State Medical University revealed the most urgent and exciting problems: the organization of the educational process, financial difficulties, misunderstanding on the part of teachers, unsatisfactory living conditions in the hostel. Students’ academic performance and their ideas about the role of the teacher’s personality in choosing a future specialty are studied. The relationship between the course of study, academic performance, psychological maturity and ideas about the compliance of the results with expectations is found out. Students‘ ideas about possible ways to improve the educational process are studied.
