Социальный протест на современном Востоке: к методологии исследования

Аннотация

В статье систематизируется накопленный в западной социологии методологический инструментарий исследования социального протеста в странах Востока. Анализируются три базовые концепции социального протеста: концепция политических возможностей; концепция мобилизующих структур; концепция фреймов коллективных действий. Для стран Востока именно концепция мобилизующих структур имеет особое значение, т. к. их политические институты во многом носят архаичный характер, а политические представления включают огромный пласт рудиментов традиционного общества. Обсуждается также социальная база протестного движения, анализируются “открытые пространства”, значимые для авторитарной власти, а также проблема лидерства в протестном движении.
