Пересмотрены доминирующие представления, что классическая и неоклассическая экономика содержат только основания теории рационального выбора, – экономического образца для человека и общества. По мнению автора, элементы и выводы альтернативной “теории иррационального выбора” сосуществуют с элементами теории рационального выбора. Представлены контуры теории иррационального выбора в классической и неоклассической экономике. Статья позволяет понять соотношение традиционной и современной экономико-социологической теории рационального выбора и ее альтернативу.
