Abstract
Specifics of Christian current in Russian theoretical sociology elaborated by S.N. Bulgakov are presented. Foundational principles for analyzing value contents of ideas are discussed. Bulgakov’s understanding of the role of ideas and values for implementing social changes is emphasized.
