Information technologies permitted to create computer methods for sociological tasks. However, most of these methods are unknown to many sociologists. Moreover, there are no real attempts to master achievements of computer science. A main reason for this, so author, is the fact that sociologists do not know the methods in question. The paper offers a description of technologies, which are promising for sociology, and shows their usefulness in the context of debated issues of math methods use in sociology, methods that form foundation for any computer technology.
