Abstract

The article presents methodological considerations and some procedural and methodological peculiarities summarizing more than a quarter century author’s experience of sociological fieldwork worlds of peasant Russia. Special attention is paid to “voices from below” – peasant discursive formats, in which natural and integrally embodied movement of peasant life practices form the core of everyday life. In particular, identified and discursive recorded the phenomenon of generational grieving and special chronometrie – some “social gyroscope”. The last notable and useful ability to hold the collective memory of the village community coordinates a productive coveted in the past and, thereby, affect the appearance of today’s emerging new peasant worlds.
