The article discusses a new S.D. Bodrunov’s book from a cycle based on international and Russian discussions. The author shows that though questions of the 21st century global transformations draw attention of scholars in different fields of science, there are few especially in Russia complete and complex works which are taking up these questions. The new S.D. Bodrunov’s book is a unique work considering high-quality changes in the content of work, social structure, values and motives.
