Our talk with Nikolay V. Romanovskiy – deputy head editor, Sociological Studies journal, chief research fellow, Institute of Sociology, FCTAS RAS and RSUH Professor took place of his 85th birthday. A range of topics were discussed, from development of sociology to outflow of personnel from sciences. His scholarly interests – for theoretical as well as historical sociology – allows designate reference points and outline prospects to shape one’s views on the growth of social science.
