Abstract

Main stages of development of ethnic sociology are considered. Results ofresearch are analyzed and issues are thematized pertaining to theoretical comprehensionand empirical study of the phenomena of civic and ethnic identity, interethnic relations, ethnicsocial differentiation. Methodological flaws are discussed appearing in the course of readyingresearch tools and interpreting data obtained.
